Travel Pocket Boggle Game

This pocket edition of Boggle is easy to play and even easier to play again.  There are 12 letter strips. Choose 4 at random and slide them into the grid.  Start the 3-minute timer and search the letter grid for words of three letters or more.  To play another round, simply flip over the grid, restart the timer and search for different words.  The 12 letter strips are made of durable flexible plastic.  The box can be thrown away, as it is a self contained game--everything stores inside and game "board" slides closed.

Vintage Name That Country Board Game -- Hard to Find

The gameboard incorporates a spinner listing 60 countries and their respective continent. Players take it in turns to spin the spinner and then identify on the map the location of that country - this is done by calling out the appropriate number from a map and then cross-referencing it with a look-up table.

A correct answer earns a number of movement points which are used to move playing pieces around the board. Many of the spaces on the board show postage stamps from various countries - these have no effect on play. Other squares, however have special instructions which must be followed.

Certain spaces have depictions of a postcard. If the piece lands on one of these spaces then a postcard is drawn from a deck and read aloud. The language and the greeting, and the name of the sender, are clues to the identity of the country from which the card is sent. If the player correctly identifies the country, then the playing piece is advanced a further two spaces.
