The gameboard incorporates a spinner listing 60 countries and their respective continent. Players take it in turns to spin the spinner and then identify on the map the location of that country - this is done by calling out the appropriate number from a map and then cross-referencing it with a look-up table.
A correct answer earns a number of movement points which are used to move playing pieces around the board. Many of the spaces on the board show postage stamps from various countries - these have no effect on play. Other squares, however have special instructions which must be followed.
Certain spaces have depictions of a postcard. If the piece lands on one of these spaces then a postcard is drawn from a deck and read aloud. The language and the greeting, and the name of the sender, are clues to the identity of the country from which the card is sent. If the player correctly identifies the country, then the playing piece is advanced a further two spaces.
